Mr. Cole will discuss new legislation that will subject predators to treble damages, attorneys' fees, and costs when they engage in financial scams against seniors, and he will discuss changes to the burden of proof, the new attachment act that allows elder victims to freeze defendants' assets and the introduction of undue influence as part of the Elder and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act.
